Planet MGB-2GLR2 Compatible 2.5Gbps SFP OC-48 SR-1 1310nm 2km SMF Duplex LC DDM/DOM Optical Transceiver Module Planet MGB-2GLR2 compatible optical transceiver is a dual fiber 2.5Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP module for use in OC48/STM-16 SONET/SDH network. SFP OC48-SR1 provides 2.48Gb/s throughput up to 2km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), SONET OC-48 SR-1 and SERDES standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP transceiver features highly reliable FP transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 2.48832Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring/Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine Planet MGB-2GLR2 transceivers.
